Claremont Counselling provides confidential one-to-one counselling for adults, with appointments available in Glasgow city centre or online anywhere in the UK. You can contact us directly, without needing a referral from your GP, university or anyone else.

Qualified support, backed by more than 60 years of experience

Claremont Counselling is provided by Murray’s Initiative, which has spent more than 60 years helping people improve their health and wellbeing.

All counselling is delivered by qualified counsellors registered with recognised professional bodies, and Murray’s Initiative is recognised by COSCA, Scotland’s professional body for counselling and psychotherapy.

Right now there is no wait time and you can get an appointment right away. You can book directly with us and arrange counselling around your studies, work and other commitments.

There is also no automatic cut-off after three or six appointments. You and your counsellor will regularly review how things are going and decide together whether further sessions would be helpful.

Appointments are available face to face in Glasgow city centre or online anywhere in the UK.

Each appointment lasts 50 minutes and costs £50. Students pay £35 and should bring a valid student ID to their first appointment.
