Service Manager - Counselling

Nicole leads Murray’s Initiative’s Counselling Services, managing staff, volunteer counsellors and placement students to ensure clients receive the highest standard of support. She is responsible for maintaining ethical and reporting standards, while embedding client feedback into service development. Nicole works to create a supportive and inclusive environment for her team.

Her passion for this work began while supporting people with alcohol-related brain damage, where she saw first-hand the difference that focussed care can make. Alongside her professional role, Nicole volunteers as a First Aider, where she supports people at moments of crisis.

Nicole takes pride in the work ethic of her team and the amazing things they achieve. She values collaboration, whether working together on complex cases or celebrating successes and takes great pride in seeing clients and counsellors thrive.
