Women’s Service

We are currently not accepting new referrals.

We understand times are difficult for many, but any support—no matter how small—can help make a difference in keeping this life-saving service open.

Our Women’s Service is dedicated to empowering survivors of gender-based violence or abuse to reclaim their lives, restore their sense of control and confidently move toward a brighter future.

We provide a safe, supportive space where every woman’s unique journey is respected and valued.

When you engage with us, your journey begins with a confidential assessment to understand your individual needs and identify the support that will make the greatest difference. This can include:

  • Safety planning and guidance

  • Person-centred emotional support

  • Wellbeing support

  • Confidence building

  • Developing coping strategies

  • Support with housing and other tenancy issues

Beyond immediate assistance, we offer ongoing support options to help you build lasting resilience and independence.

At the heart of our service is a commitment to walking alongside you with respect, compassion and empowerment—because every woman deserves to thrive.

  • Shaped by the needs of participants, our group brings women together in a safe and welcoming space to:

    • Build confidence, self-worth and resilience

    • Find peer support and reduce isolation caused by past trauma or addiction

    • Develop useful life skills (health and wellbeing, food and mood etc)

    • Connect to further opportunities through our Elevate service

  • For those who prefer personalised support, we offer one-to-one mentoring tailored to what matters most to you.

You will work closely with a supportive and understanding Support Worker who takes the time to get to know you, your story and your goals. Together, you will create a personalised action plan and work towards your goals at a pace that feels right for you.

Our one-to-one support can include building confidence, managing stress, exploring recovery options, improving overall wellbeing or connecting you with housing and other community services.

With encouragement, practical guidance, and genuine understanding, we are here to help you move forward and create positive change—your way.
